Type Of Room – Before you select a colour, it’s important to understand who the room is for and its purpose. Colours for a living room cannot be the same as for a child’s room.
Sources Of Light – Know the sources of light in your room. Is there enough ventilation? Or is the room stuffy and small? Choosing pastel colours for rooms with few windows would be wise. Darker colours are a strict no-no for small rooms.
